A month ago I was parked at Jacob Lake, electrolyte-loading and waiting for Route 67 to open. Tonight I’m in Ouray, looking back at the North Rim, Mesa Verde, Durango, Silverton, and a stretch of highway that earns its name. Figured it was worth slowing down and giving you the whole arc, with everything that came out of it along the way.
